PTB's main site is situated in the northwest of the city of Braunschweig, in the district of Völkenrode.

PTB has been based in Braunschweig since 1947. About 1700 members of staff in nine divisions work at the 1 km² site, PTB's Presidential Board is located here.

The conference takes place in the conference centre at Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) in Braunschweig, Germany.

Getting to PTB in Braunschweig

The venue is the conference centre (shown on the map to the right of the yellow ‘C’). For conference participants arriving by car, there are plenty of parking spaces available on the PTB site (marked in blue on the map).

Please note that all visitors to the PTB must register at the security desk at the entrance to the campus.
